Quotes & pricing

The quote is free, and once given it is fixed. You describe the fault, I diagnose the device, and you get one price covering parts and labour before any work begins. Nothing is ordered and nothing is opened up further without your go-ahead, so there is never a surprise line at the end.

Yes, for most jobs. Send me the make, the model and what the device is doing, ideally with a photo or a short video, and I will give you a realistic range straight away. The firm price comes after the diagnostic, because guessing at a fault nobody has tested yet is how people end up paying twice.

How a repair works

First the symptoms, in your words. Then the diagnostic: power delivery, memory, storage health, thermals and software, depending on the fault. Then I call or message you with what failed, the options and a fixed price. Once you approve it I carry out the repair, test it under load, and hand it back with a note of exactly what was done and which part went in.

Most diagnostics are done the same day. Phone batteries are often an hour, laptop batteries and in-stock screens the same day, and common repairs such as drives, memory, cooling or a software cleanup typically 24 to 48 hours. Sourced parts or board-level work take longer, and you get an estimated date with the quote rather than after.

Data, parts & warranty

Your data is yours. I only access what the repair requires, I never copy your files elsewhere, and I never share anything with anyone. Always back up before handing over a device, and if the job carries any risk, such as a failing drive, a board repair or a reinstall, I image the disk first so your files survive even if the hardware does not.

I fit original (OEM) parts whenever they are available, because they perform and last best, and tested premium-grade equivalents when they are not. Either way you know which part is going into your device before I fit it. My workmanship is guaranteed and parts carry their manufacturer or supplier warranty, with a written note of what was done.

Service area & devices

Yes. Santa Cruz and La Laguna, the north and the south of the island. Depending on the job we arrange collection and delivery of the device or I work on site, and we agree which it is when you accept the quote, so you are never left wondering how your device gets back to you.

I will tell you honestly, even when the answer costs me the job. If the repair approaches the real value of the device, or the failing part is likely to drag others down with it, I say so with numbers and help you choose a replacement that suits what you actually do. Plenty of machines written off as dead are still running years later, and some genuinely are not worth another euro.
